Scaffolding fitter / assistant
Responsibilities
- Scaffolding fitter / fitter’s assistant – the work includes operating lathes, milling machines and boring machines. It also involves material preparation, machine setup and quality control. The candidate performs machining of metal, steel and structural components. Because precision is essential, accuracy and responsibility are important.
- work in the metal products department,
- assistance with metalworking tasks, including grinding, drilling, threading, cutting and hole-making,
- auxiliary activities in the mechanical processing of components (spot welding, riveting),
- assisting with the welding of steel structures,
- taking care of assigned equipment and tools,
- keeping the workplace tidy.
Requirements
- Scaffolding fitter / fitter’s assistant – we require experience in machining and with conventional machines. Knowledge of technical drawings and component measurement is important, as are independence, punctuality and readiness to work as part of a team. Because the work is technical, precision and commitment are required.
