About the company
About the company – Stalkone was established in 2003. Initially, for seven years, it was involved in scaffolding assembly and rental. During that period, we served the construction market and industrial plants.
Over the years, we increasingly expanded our industrial operations. We therefore began specialising in more demanding industrial projects. Since 2010, we have operated on the premises of the former Gdynia Shipyard.
We also work close to the Crist and Nauta shipyards and Energomontaż Północ. It was then that we began manufacturing and processing steel structures. At the same time, we started providing machining services.

In 2021, we completed an investment in a new production plant. This enabled us to expand the production of steel structures and equipment. We currently occupy almost one hectare in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone.
The site is located within the former Gdynia Shipyard. Importantly, we operate close to the shipyard quays. This means that oversized structures can be transported directly by sea, improving the logistics of large and demanding projects.
In 2020 and 2021, the company obtained two EU grants. They came from the Smart Growth Operational Programme and concerned Sub-measure 3.2.1 “Research to Market”. They also covered Sub-measure 1.1.1 relating to industrial research and included support for business development work. These areas are now an important driver of our growth.
We therefore invest in modern machinery and new technologies. At the same time, we conduct development research and build the competencies of our team. This enables us to use modern software and advanced systems. As a result, we operate more efficiently, effectively and competitively.

Anti-corrosion protection
In 2024–2025, we expanded our production operations to include offshore-standard anti-corrosion protection.
We prepare the steel structures we manufacture for painting with the utmost care, in accordance with requirements including NORSOK M-501, PN-EN ISO 12944, PN-ISO 8501 and PN-ISO 8501-3. The quality of our work is guaranteed not only by the ISO 9001 system and the high standards required by our clients.
Our guiding principle is an internal awareness of growth and development. Stalkone Sp. z o.o.’s highly qualified staff has been strengthened by a FROSIO Level III inspector. We provide supervision of offshore-standard protection systems carried out by us, as well as FROSIO Level III inspection services for external clients.
We provide anti-corrosion protection services for structures weighing up to 1 tonne and with maximum dimensions of 2 m × 5 m × 1.5 m.

Our innovations
In 2020, while preparing for grant programme 3.2.1, we developed and initiated a patent procedure concerning the planned production of modern modular floating systems.
The research and the time devoted to preparing for participation in the grant programme enabled us to implement knowledge, solutions and modern systems supporting production management and supervision.
The R&D department is currently also working on the development of modular transport systems, which is intended to result in documentation and prototypes of new Stalkone products.
