Steel structure fitter / fitter’s assistant
Responsibilities
- The work of a steel structure fitter / fitter’s assistant involves working with metal components, as well as grinding, drilling, threading and cutting steel. The candidate prepares, fits and assembles structural components. Because quality is essential, workmanship control is important. The employee takes care of equipment and tools and keeps the workplace tidy.
- work in the metal products department,
- assistance with metalworking tasks, including grinding, drilling, threading, cutting and hole-making,
- auxiliary activities in the mechanical processing of components (spot welding, riveting),
- assisting with the welding of steel structures,
- taking care of assigned equipment and tools,
- keeping the workplace tidy.
Requirements
- Fitter / fitter’s assistant – we require manual skills and a willingness to work with steel structures, as well as accuracy, independence and responsibility when carrying out tasks. Knowledge of technical drawings and metalworking is welcome. Because the work is technical, precision and commitment are important. We are looking for people who are ready to learn and work as part of a team.
